I started modelling in 2018. I thought modelling was all about taking pictures and posting them on social media, I didn't know it is beyond that. In May, 2019. there was a day at Mobil, Ringroad, Ibadan., i was walking down to my house when a guy approached me. He introduced himself, and asked me "Are you Catwalk Model?". I being a starter stammered 'Yes Yes', so he told me about Nigerian Television Fashion Show(NTFS) in Ibadan. He said I should come for the rehearsals and participating models will be selected on the last day of the rehearsals. I began going for the rehearsals and faced lot of difficulties because I've never walked on the runway before. During the rehearsals, I was always embarrassed and insulted. Those words hurt but I didn't let them get to my heart. It kept me moving forward. I wanted to show the world who I am. Whenever I get home after rehearsals, I rehearsed on my own. I would check through supermodels' portfolios to see how they comport themselves on the runway. I improved on my own and was later picked as the last model to walk the show. That was my starting point. I went for another casting, Ibadan Bridal Fashion Week(IBFW) and was lost among people I don't know. I was selected as part of the models to walk for the show but I didn't have the chance to walk the show, It was my exam period in school. So I was later discovered by Arcade Modelling Agency. He told me to come and see him in his office and that was when I was signed. I started another life. I walked the Arcade Fashion Week 2.0 in December, 2019. Since then I've been part of the family and we're doing our best.

My advice for upcoming models.
Before you embark on modeling business you should know the reason you want to become a model, not because you like the name model.
