Relationship vs Love 1 By Ruth Dulac

Ship- a large vessel that transport people to their
destination which may take longer days or years.
The dictionary defines a relationship as a cultural,
romantic or passionate attachment between people.
A state of affair existing between two or more
people.
From the concept above, I define a relationship as a
connection between people which may end up taking
them to their desired destination which will take
long days/years as the case may be so as to give
them a lasting bond.

If you are to define love, what would your definition
be? How much sense does the word even make to
you?
Although to the society, the word love has become a
cliche, people use it without giving a thought to what
it really means to the extent that it has lost its
meaning.
Many have different definition of love. To some,
love is a deep feeling of affection, a mutual feeling
towards another person. To others, love is
synonymous with physical intimacy and as far as
some others are concerned, love is just sweet
words.
However, it must be noted that without a proper
understanding of who God is, none can experience,
define or express what truly love is.
Love is God.
Love is the unselfish, loyal, and benevolent intention
and commitment of one's self towards another.
Love is that universal language that the most
unlearned barbarian understands and instinctively
responds to.
Love is the golden key that fits all lock. The most
powerful remedy that has melted many hardened
heart and broken many barriers.
Love is the bedrock of every relationship. It's the
most important and makes every relationship
admirable, desirable and beautiful. The kind of love
that can nourish any relationship is one that is
patient and kind.
When it goes Wrong!!!
Every relationship has its up and down but when it
begins to hurt, it isn't uncommon for us to hang on
to what seems like a relationship with no future just
because we had a great part in the early stages.
A person who cannot change the very fabric of their
thoughts will never be able to change reality, so,
quietly forgive and move on.
Letting Go
Letting go is a gift to yourself and very often a
change of self is needed more than a change of
scene.

Moving On
Re-adjusting is a painful process but most of us need
it at one time or another in our lives. We ought to
create our future from our present not our past.
Yes, there are things that we never want to let go of,
people we never want to let go/leave behind; but
keep in mind that letting go isn't the end of the
world but the beginning of a new life. Do not dwell
in the past, do not dream of the future but
concentrate on the present moment.
Don't point fingers at someone because you are
unhappy or because the relationship didn't work out.
Never regret anything because at some point,
everything you did was exactly what you wanted. The
more anger you carry in your heart towards the past,
the less capable you are and will be of loving in the
present.
Your eyes are on the front of your head for a reason,
So keep looking forward and never back to the past.
Make It Work!!
Romance, roses, chocolates and champagne are only
a small part of what makes up a good relationship.
Work towards getting the best in your relationship
and make it work for what its worth.
