THE RIPPLE EFFECT; WHAT YOU DO MATTERS
“Never doubt that
a small group of
thoughtful,
committed, citizens
can change the
world. Indeed, it is
the only thing that
ever has.” —
Margaret Mead
Have you ever
heard of the
Butterfly Effect?
It was an idea
invented in 1963 by
a man named
Edward Lorenz,
that stated that “if a butterfly flapped it’s wings
on one side of the world that it would cause a
hurricane on the other side of the world.” Which
is now called “sensitive dependency on initial
conditions.”
This theory was laughed at because it seemed
impossible that a butterfly could cause a
hurricane across the world… but it was proven to
be a true, and maybe not in the shape of a
butterfly causing a hurricane but in the shape of
you… in the shape of our actions.
Your actions are going to shape not only your life
but also the lives of everybody else around you…
IMAGINE if Thomas Edison never found out how
to conduct electricity… I wouldn’t even be here
telling you about all of this! I mean come on!
What he founded 100′s of years ago has caused
changes forever with society and the human race.
I mean that is powerful, the fact that you can do
something so extraordinary that can cause
changes for years and generations. It doesn’t
have to be a HUGE change, just something that
will cause others to want to make a change as
well. And when you do that, you will cause ripples
in time. You will cause tidal waves of change over
the course of years & years to come.
You see what I am saying?
Maybe not… Let me put this in Layman’s terms…
What you do now, causes change in the future.
It is as simple as that, so if you ever feel like
what you are doing doesn’t matter… you’re wrong.
It does… wanna know why? Okay.
The reason why, is because each and every
person has a role in the cosmos, in life, we all have
our duties to do, but that doesn’t mean that
those “duties” cannot be changed.
Instead of going to work everyday, and dreading
to go to work, why don’t you find a way to make
money online, set yourself free and help others
to do it. It’s as simple as that, you can help
change the course of people’s lives, which can
help them change the lives of their friends or
even better, their children. And those children’s
children can cause those changes as well with
their children.
It’s a big cycle of doing something that matters
and causes change in someone else’s life. Because
the big picture isn’t about “I, me,” it’s about,
“you, us, we.”
Get out there and do something that matters, do
something that inspires you, do something that
will break you from the chains of mediocrity.
I challenge you to do something different, to go
out there and just do something!
Stop saying you wish something would happen,
and stop saying you wish something would change,
BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE!
As the quote above states, it doesn’t take a big
group to make a change, think about it…
Bill Gates has revolutionized technology and you
know where he started? His college dorm room
by himself.
Jeff Bezos has revolutionized how we shop,
especially online, and you know where he
started? His garage selling books.
As I have stated, it doesn’t take some massive
change at the start… all it takes is some elbow
grease, and a desire so strong that it will cause
you to change and to become the change you want to see.
